INTRODUCTION
- The B1-19 and B1-30 from AMC are powered subwoofers designed to enhance
the excitement and realism of the home theater experience. Both models share
the same design concepts which feature high-current discrete amplifiers and
long-throw polypropylene drivers.
- Employing an 8" driver and 100 watts amplifier, the B1-19 is
optimized for small to moderate size rooms while the B1-30, with a 10"
driver and 150 watts amplifier is optimized for larger rooms. Both models
will extend the response of typical speaker systems to include the critical
low frequency effects which are necessary to ensure realism and increased
excitement.
- The sophisticated amplifier design of the B1-19 and B1-30 features dynamic
soft-clipping circuitry, which guards against overload distortions. In
addition, continuously in conjunction with variable phase adjustment result
in seamless integrations with other speakers in the system and provides
maximum flexibility in placement of the subwoofer within the room.
